Amidst the time vague yet malign
reflects the path of the oblivious.
Eluding sight, deluding mind
a withered land in barren sea of nothingness.

Aeons pass, fade away.
The way of life remains unaltered.
Then at last balance decays
remorseless of those who faltered.

The night has come at last.
Beclouded shadows cast
kindled ashes of the past,
a blaze from greed amassed.

Not Beast like nor lenient
the essence of our world is corporeal.
Not nocuous nor obedient
In the end indifferent to the cerebral.

This place marks the dearth. Eternal coffin of
the unremunerated, unearned, free.
The ingrate ingrain and in bereavement watch
their life retreating in tranquillity.

Beyond a life of mere ferocity
there is a peace of mind lit by the moon.

We crave, we starve and thus...

Alone, we desire
the home, that will deny us.
We roam our inert surface
bemoan the shelter on fire.
